Moving to Efi Live

I looked into the new ( spade KING) cant see anything bad about it. I sold my PPE tuner to a buddy already! I hope I made the right choice! I'm looking for a little feedback and recomendations please! The dealer I contacted was unsure of some of my ?'s one being wether or not it works like the ppe tuner in the fact you can detune it and retune later. That kinda comes in handy where I live! The road conditions are'nt real favorable for torque at least 7 months out of the year.

SPADE is just an EFI-LIVE Autocal unit with a custom label on it.

Anyone who does EFI-Live tuning can supply you with an Auto-Cal and tunes.

Just be sure who you buy from, once you buy the Auto-Cal it's locked to that tuner forever, no other CALZ File from any other EFI-Live tuner can be sent to you for the Auto-Cal.

Do your homework, ask all the right questions and make sure you can get free updates as you cannot write your own tunes with the Auto-Cal, you can only load what you are supplied by the original tuner who supplied the Auto-Cal.

I dont remember his name, but I talked to a fellow @ Alligator. He said he didnt know much about the spades just the scan 2 stuff! It seems tailor made to my set up I'm excited to try it out. I'm gonna ask that the level 1 better than stock tune be switched with a lope tune! LOL!!

I've been told and told EFI LIVE is the only way to go! Now I know! Its almost a completely different truck! I'm still testing out what the best mileage tune is but other than that it has better throttle response, quicker spool, and idles better! Thanks Jason with Alligator! and Duramaxtuner! Definately the best for the guys that dont have time to tune their truck themselves! P.S. Hopefully I'll make it to Rapid city in May to put her on the rollers and see what we gained!! THANKS:thumb:
