Mounting LBZ MP correctly

Sorry for the Blast from the Past... but...

I picked up my LLY in August '15 and finally got around to putting on the LBZ MP ... I had read the threads regarding installation and it went relatively smooth...

Question is: It was a tight fit between the turbo and the wire harness (back to front) and I'm wondering if I got the bottom of the MP completely sealed against the bottom of the turbo... can't see down there...

The clamp went on pretty easy and tightened up snugly...the MP doesn't move if I try to shake it... there is no more turbo whine than before and I don't get any codes from the MAF sensor in the stock LLY airbox...

Can I consider this install a success? Or is there something else I should check to make sure the turbo isn't sucking dirty air between the MP and the turbo?

You could spray eyther with the engine running around the mp vband. If it revs up its leaking. I wouldn't worry too much about it though. What I normally do on vbands is tighten it up pretty snug hand tight then rotate the piping left and right. If it rotates smooth it's probably seated nice. If it hangs up, the grooves probably aren't seated in the vband very well

Exactly what mad max says! Rotate the piece to really get a good idea of it being seated
