I'm more of a slow but comfortable rider. I ride a 2001 Harley FLHRI Roadking. It is a nice comfortable cruiser/bar hopper. Here is a pic, it is the one between my wife and I.

I really would like to have one of those BMW R 1200GS. Look like so much fun you can ride them all day on the road then mash right into the dirt. anyone wanna buy me one ?

I prefer the cruiser type, though I don't ride at cruiser speeds very often. I have an 03 ultra classic Harley and bought that b/c I usually do 3 or 4 trips a year that are around a 1,000 miles of riding. Not to mention, taking it to work is at least a 100 miles a day too.

Someday I'd like to get a bar hopper again for shorter trips, but that would likely require selling the dmax (i.e. money pit).

I've owned dozens of bikes, but now I'm down to just a KTM 300.

Thoughts:

If you think all the car drivers are out to kill you, you are not being paranoid, you are being realistic.

A loud exhaust is WAY more effective than the silly horns they put on bikes.

Wheelies are fun, but will return your bike to kit form, part by part. Harleys will actually bust the front cylinder off.

Looks just like my wife's, except for the tires. I also got rid of that bench seat and got her a corbin seat which has almost the same shape as yours. It she has the fender with the licence plate mount. we got it about a year ago with about 800 miles on it. She loves it, rides it to work everyday.:D How does he like the bar end mirrors?

Now THOSE are badass!!! Don't nut kick me too hard if this is an insult but who makes those????

That first one.... is it in the same "class" as say a Yamaha Warrior and harley VRod, etc.??? Kinda looks the part. Very damn good looking. How fat is that back tire?? Looks rather large. :cool2:
