Wow! what a look journey. The new motor sits in the shop with the heads on and waiting for accy. The new beast has arias pistons and howards rods. Socal heads (stage 2), Socal balancer, Socal cam and clevite H race bearings also from Socal. Block work by BES racing engines. Anyone who wants to put in head studs should really wait until they can have the block honed with a tq/plate. As Johnboy told me the cylinders moved .0045 when checked with the plate tight with studs. That could cause many problems that pistons and ring seal. I will be running a 3" turbo from Forced Induction and start there. I'm going to put a roll bar in the truck with the hopes of running mid 10's and not breaking it all the time. I want to run a 9 sec pass just to do it in the truck just to say I did it. I have a lot of work to do with the truck itself but it should be fun. hanks Jeff
