more pulling carnage

What do you guys think happened. A tare down has not happened yet this was yesterday.(a friends truck)

No. engine stopped and wont crank

what kind of mods and estimated hp


i would say possibilities in this order IMHO

blown gasket and hydrolocked
broke connecting rod and siezed motor

this is where i would start if you can still not crank the motor...

Have you tried to turn it over by hand in both directions? Sounds like you can hear a hicup in the engine a few seconds before it stopped.

After it shuts down, you can hear grinding inside as its coming to a stop- definitely sounds like something broke in there, whether rods or crank. -Steven

i wouls say its def. internal. no matter what happened, it seems like he was a good sport about it. i hope its noot too serious.

we will find out this week something definitely let go in side. the owner is on this sight so Ill let him tell the mods if he wants . Ill get pictures of the carnage when its opened up.

Crank would be another guess.

I was thinking of that but it wouldn't of died then would it? I though it would just rev sky high and sounded really bad before it was shut down.
