More LMM VVT issues

I've been having some problems with the truck lately. A couple weeks ago it popped an 0047 and I was able to fix it by taking the connector off the ECM and messing with the two wires that Dustin (chevyburnout1) told me to check last year when I got the code the first time. Started working again. Last night the truck wouldn't make any boost and set a 2563. Eventually it started working properly again. Today it started out working fine then no boost and eventually set a 003a.

Do you think the vein position sensor is bad or is it possibly stuck veins? I love the turbine brake tunes and the truck is set up exactly how I want it but these VVT codes are getting old.

I just went for a short drive and it didn't work at first and no code. I shut it off and started again set a 003a and started working again.

could pull the turbo off and try to clean the vanes. how many miles are on it?

What color is the wire coming out of the vane position sensor? The white wire is an updated sensor. Could be vanes sticking internal to the turbo.

I went through the same problem with my 4094. Ended up replacing the vane actuator solenoid.

The truck has 154k on it. The wire going to the sensor is white.

I replaced the vein position solenoid last winter before Dustin told me what was actually wrong with it.

I went for a drive this morning and it worked properly at first then stopped building boost and eventually set a p2563 and another p0047. Could stuck veins cause a no load condition in the vein position solenoid control circuit? If not ive got more than one problem.

In my LLY I had to replace the vane solenoid in my brand new 4094 also. I used the solenoid out of the stock turbo I had just replaced.

If I have to pull the turbo off I'm tempted to send Russ my stock turbo off my LLY and have him give it a port and polish. Then I'll put it on the LMM.

In that 154k miles has it been used or just daily driven slowly?
Reason I ask is because I've taken apart and seen some VVT that where built up some. If you do take it apart to clean they're pretty simple to do.

I don't run it really hard. I bought it with 118k on it. It was used to haul and pull a bumper pull trailer. The previous owner used it in his business. It was 100% stock when I bought it.
