I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place but idk where else to post it so sorry in advance,

So I got a little angry today and gave the ole dirty some juice and I now notice a hissing kind of high pitch sound when I'm 3/4 throttle or more almost sounds like a boost leak but still has full power so I'm stumped I kinda looked over everything really quick and can't find a boot loose or anything and don't see anything out of the regular sounds like it's coming from the turbo region of the engine bay and it's definitely not the usual sound and I have actually heard this noise once before over the weekend but it stopped until today any help appreciated..

Check to see if the angle elbow coming out of the intake where the egg bypass pipe bolts has blown out or partially has blown out. I have done that.

The cold air intake or intake manifold?

The pipe going into your ybridge.

And could be the ybridge itself at full boost.

Also make sure your mouthpiece is seated correctly, if you have an LBZ one they can look good but have a small gap at the bottom and loosen up, it will do what you're describing.

Possible y bridge elbow

I purchased and EGR delete pipe for my truck.
05 LLY Kory Willis Tuner, New Alum Mouthpiece, Cat Con Delete And
Dr. Sadler Twister Injectors with flow matched Injector Pump.
The first time I got on it the aluminum elbow blew out of the y bridge
and left me going down the road blowing black smoke all over the highway.
When the pressure blew the aluminum elbow out of the Y bridge the EGR delete pipe mount bent. As you can see there is nothing holding the aluminum elbow into the Y bridge except the light weight EGR delete pipe. I took mine all apart and straightened the bent EGR delete pipe mount bracket and reassembled it.
The next time I got on it I caught it before it blew out completely. This time when I tore it down to straighten the EGR delete pipe bracket, I used high temp gasket sealer coated evenly on the O' rings and area of the aluminum elbow when reinstalling. I let it sit for 6 hours and babied it for a few days to let the gasket sealer cure. It has lasted for about 6 months until moving back to MI from FL towing a 24' enclosed car hauler full of furniture. Pulling the first big pass in the Smokies I knew I heard something pop.......It partially blew this time and I made the 1600 mile tow with no issues. This time I will fix it the same and also fabricate a bracket that uses the Y bridge bolts to hold the elbow in place. I have seen a picture of a bracket that was sent to me by the manufacturer of the EGR delete pipe. He stated that it was a common issue because unlike the massive factory EGR that held the elbow into the Y bridge, there wasn't the mass in the delete pipe to handle the pressure.
Let me know what you find out. You should be able to use a flash light and look straight down at the mating surface of the elbow and Y bridge and see a gap or large gap if it has blow out like it sounds yours has.

I'm gonna get more in depth with it tonight after work but looked at it for a while yesterday and all I could find is the passenger side intercooler pipe is wet at the boot near the radiator before it gets up the the intercooler but I can't find anything it's sounds like a boost leak or turbo giving up it just doesn't add up that it still has full power that's what's got me stumped but I'm also definitely not no diesel mechanic this is my first diesel and only had it about 6 months, I could tell a lot easier if I had a boost gauge but I also don't know how much boost it pushes normally or I would hook up one of my buddies cts scanners

It's tuned by kameron Burchette at SMR so I know that he knows what he's doing and said it could hold the big tune with the mods it has but that doesn't mean that the 10+ year old parts aren't just deciding to give up

I have seen the boots blow off and look like they are still attached. Also have seen them split where you can't see the split.

Just took a turn for the worse as I can find the problem it sounds like a hissing cobra at 1/4 throttle and yet still can't find any leaks
