Then why do I have a numerous page thread about how wrong my tunes are? The truck is moonshine tuned. Read the thread "wierd knock at heavy throttle" have fun with poorly distilled shine.

If I gave a shit I might... Carving Tony on a forum isn't going to fix your problem. Good luck finding someone better

Damn. I have moonshine tunes and they are twacked. Wish I could simply send an email and get them fixed.

OH WAIT! I HAVE.... MORE THAN ONCE. I think I want everclear instead of moonshine now. Not happy.

Maybe a PM directly to me would be a better use of your time or perhaps pick up the phone and call me or email me, I don't hide from anyone.

You would have to look very hard to find an unhappy customer of mine, do I make 100% of people happy ?? Nope, most people that have a truck issue that they don't want to come to terms with or want to deny they have a problem are quick to blame tuning for the problems.

Anyone who's truck I have sat in and tuned left without a complaint, and if you think I can fix it without tons of logs and specific feedback I can't.

If you have logs send them, if you have a phone pick it up and call, if you have PM capability or email capability use it.

Don't cry about it and them not follow up with me !

This is the first I have heard of you and your problems, I tune dozens of these a month for SoCal Diesel and other shops around the country, not counting my ecm exchange tuning.

:baby:

I answered your post here..... >>> http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showpost.php?p=506841&postcount=89

If you want it fixed change your attitude, or try someone else and see how you do.

X2. No matter what I would least give a guy a chance to fix. I have not heard of any complaints also. Exactly what I said couple posts ago. Kinda unfair to rip someone apart without any attempts. Imo. Good luck.

Tony's tuning is top notch. He got the rep for being one of the best because of the time he puts into it and the knowledge he has.
I feel I made a mistake not taking Tony up on his tuning offer 4 (5?) years ago, all simply because I never, ever wanted anyone to think the drawing at Merchant's was rigged. 02freighttrain did get a hell of a good running truck out of that redraw though...didnt he Tony?

You cannot blame your tuner if your truck doesnt run the same after you change your fueling/turbo setup. The tune has to change to match the parts you are running. There is no "magic" tune that will work with every different truck setup.

Completely agree, if you didn't reach out to try and resolve your issue, then there is no reason to bad mouth anyone for that matter.

I did reach out to get the issue resolved. However, it wasn't directly to you Tony. So maybe I should just stop having a middle man.

Sell the ecm, and find someone to tune the truck close to you. I had a moonshine ecm that the tunes were good but had a bit too much rattle. I sent it back and Tony sent me new tunes. I started changing my setup with twins and such, and didn't want the hassle of keep sending the ecm back, so I sold it to a guy that lives by tony, and I use a guy that lives by me. No two trucks are the same, and tunes may run differently in other trucks also.

Vaz, glad I could help ya out and take the ecm off your hands . Just as stated by many, no two trucks are the same and no two tunes will react the same in any truck. Tony's no bullshit'er and will tell it to ya like it is...thats why the best of the best use him. Pat, if you have a problem or don't like how your truck is running, you should pick up the phone or email the guy. No need to post up this BS in someone elses thread  Back to the thread on hand....When do I get a ride Andrew
