Not all transmission shops are created equally. Had mine built twice in ky. within a month. The shop wasted two suncoast kits. Finally bit the bullet and drove to california and had Mike L. fix it RIGHT! So now i have a $12,000 DOLLAR TRANSMISSON. Should have used him the first time.

Bought an SDP egr delete pipe only to pull it off 4 months later for a full 3" HSP y Bridge and piping.

Ran a Labonte Water Meth kit for about 6 months, biggest waste of money on the truck by far. yeah it added a tiny bit of power, but was a pain in the ass to keep working properly. Not to mention filling up the tank all the time got old.

Did the same thing with the egr delete and pulled it 6 months later for the 3" HSP setup...dumb on my behalf

Also would have read more and saved more and just had taken mine to Disney Land and had "The Man" build my trans right...id be in a lot less

Wouldn't say I regret my mistakes, I look at them as learning experiences. Crappy as some of the situations started but it all worked itself out band I couldn't be happier with my truck

Yeaaaa, if he fubar'd a head gasket job? Stay far away from that Allison.

I have no regrets as of yet, I built my own trans and 50k miles later it still takes a beating. I would buy the Kennedy pumps again, and I would buy the egr delete from Profab again, and go to Danville for live tuning again.

Only thing I would do over would be replacing the FPR with lbz unit. But being I didn't have tunes on it when I first bought it, didn't really have a choice when it stuck.

Different buddy lol. No my other buddy who failed at head gaskets is to gun shy to even try to adjust his valves now.
