you don't really need to filter the used oil, just screen it so there's no large chunks in it. when you do the process all the crap and junk sinks to the bottom of the reactor and you just drain that off.

thanks...thats the info I was looking for...now to find someone to buy what I don't use...what would be a fair price to help recoup some of the initial out lay...I only use about 15 gallons a week in fuel...

i would filter the oil first still i use to do the same thing just make sure there aren't any big globs but i was still getting in trouble with clogging my filter after you cut it open so if you can get a good filter that would work better i am going to be getting a bag filter vessel once i get my check in and i was told with good oil i should be able to get 250 gal of oil filtered off one bag. the thing about the B5 is just for warranty work but they would have to prove that the fuel was what caused the problem and also before you take it in just fill your tank with diesel and you won't have a problem with the dealer. i am running the Fuel miester II also i have the first version with the separate catalyst tank and it works good i have heard the new one is much faster.
