For my '09 LMM, purchased new, I bought lifetime oil changes, non-synthetic. I moved to an area with no dealership support for this contract, so did my own oil changes, using Rotella T6 Synthetic. I've returned to my original dealer home in Anchorage, and would like to take advantage of the service contract I bought, but the service contract specifies conventional oil.
Am I OK to change from synthetic back to what the dealer will use, and what are the consequences? I only have 55k miles on this truck and will be towing a 5th wheel toy hauler here in Alaska. Thanks guys.
