Nevermind, lol, I'm just going to try Shane's recommendation. I don't know why I try to make things harder than they have to be, or more expensive:confused:

except that I am using 1/2" line to the cp3, so I need the one that's $50 more and has 1/2 npt in/out......still not bad

to update, I will be running a single "small" MITUSA to start with a 150% over cp3 in the valley. I also have a 220% cummins cp3 that will be put on once I reach the limit of the single. I plan to run dual lift pumps at that time, the second being an Aeromotive pulley driven pump from Summit. I will try to feed them using a single sump in the tank, if it doesn't work, I will drill for a second one.

so I could never get my Mitusa pump to prime. I am in the process of ordering a new front seal and a new o-ring seal for the back cover. It has been nothing but a PITA. The Glacier Diesel Fuel Boss pump is an exact copy of Opie's MITUSA, and is readily available. I've definitely thought about it....

anyways, my question is: has anyone made a "overdrive" kit for the MITUSA to drive it faster than 2:1? The glacier pump has a "hyperdrive" kit that does this, increases rpm by 20%. I am thinking of trying it. unless there is a way to increase the flow of the MITUSA by other means. and for anyone wondering, supposedly both of these pumps are definitely capable of these rpms and still remain reliable.

Wherever I am working
Where can one of these pumps be purchased at.

Well, I just saw one on eBay for $399. I went to the fuellab website and the one that I think would work for my application said it was god for gas, diesel, ethanol and meth. Don't know if the one on eBay is the same model, but just throwing the price out there. I don't remember what model was at that price either. There are several models to choose from according for the fuel lab site.

TX of course
Fuel lab pumps ain't cheap and there as quite as you can get. There the same basic design as Kennedys pumps. IIRC with hose, fittings, and ETC the price was going to be a little more then what a compairable Kenndy pump would be $600 and change. Now if you need big power (700+) they going to be a bit more for there big pumps. It a DIY thing to install a Fuel lab there are/where no kits avaible.

Yes our Fuel Lab on the 2.6 truck is noisey but it's one of the big boys and we run higher pressure to our p pump then you'd run on a duramax when in high speed. On the low speed setting it's pretty quiet but we just idle around on that. I sell them and they can be had other places such as ebay. Like said no kits and i wouldn't really consider one for a mostly street truck unless it's in the upper end of the performance range. With the prefilter, pump, post filter, regulator, fittings and hose we have over $700 in ours.
