So I bought a MITUSA off a forum member last year but it wasnt a complete kit, just the pump and the pulleys and mounting bracket. I have emailed Opie and some others that I thought might know how to best contact him but have had no luck. so my question is, who should i contact to get the rest of the kit, or where should i start to look to piece it together myself? i could figure out the filter and lines and connections, but the belt and pressure regulator have me stumped.

thanks,
tim

You should be able to find a adjustable fuel regulator through summit or jegs, I run mine at 20psi, the filter head is a perma cool 4 port head ( http://www.perma-cool.com/Catalog/Cat_page26.html ) one line from the pump, one line to the CP3, one return to the tank and one to a pressure gauge.

My set up came with the " fuel log" which is a check valve assembly if the belt ever broke you would still have some fuel, I've never broke a belt, ( remember the belt is cogged so you run it loose. Too tight and you will ruin the seal on the pump.

I can crawl around mine today and see if I find what the numbers are!! I think I still might have Opies installation instructions here to some where if you want them!! I just looked on the computer and I have all the diagrams and instructions Opie sent me for my Mitusa!!

You would probably have to wait 3-6 months for one

the one i bought has a home-made bracket for dual cp3's that i will be taking off. i don't see why you'd need a different kit, just a Y to feed both pumps. unless he thinks the small pump wont push enough fuel for 2 cp3's? in which case i'm screwed anyways with a modded pump

if you send him an email he will get back to you. good guy. i have never had a problem buying either of my kits from him.

for the small kit i told him my goals were 750. for the larger pump i told him my goals were 900 plus.

i might call Ultimate transmission tomorrow and see about ordering one. Opie mentioned in a dieselbombers thread he was moving his pump sales to them exclusively. I have emailed him a few times with no luck.
