I was looking at a set of mirrors for my truck that are heated and have the puddle lights. My current setup is just power. Are the other ones just plug and play or is the wire connector different? How about the heated part, does that require a special button or is it automatic?

not sure on the plug but there is a button for the heat ,i think they willl come on automatic with rear defrost
Yeah what I've figured out is that if you have rear defrost that turns on the mirror heat too. If you don't have rear defrost I'm not sure you can make the mirror heat work without a bit of work.

Hmmm, probably won't work since my rear defrost is a small oscillating fan clipped to the back seat!
