Who all has ran a mini spool in the rear with stock axles and duals before? Looking at building a new setup this winter and thinking about trying a mini spool.

My regular cab would break axles with any amount of hop with a/t tires and 600~ hp, no duals.

Hop kills, I've been lucky or something with my ecsb that's around 650hp and haven't broke any axles all season and has been very smooth even on some extremely rough tracks that other guys hopped on. I'm running BFG KO2 tires, planning on running them as the duals next year.

And aftermarket 30 spline axles are not really any stronger than stock axles, except the SCS double splined axles, but for the price of them you mine as well upgrade to 38's and be done with it!

As said, I tried duals with a mini spool and stock axles and not only was able to snap them at the end of the track but could break the axle when I hit the lock up switch. Its a no go if your making any kind of power.

We ran a 600hp dually welded front and rear with 35s and stock axles. Ran two seasons before we sold it with no breaking
