What was the full 60' times 1.8x? I noticed a good difference from running my pyo's and dropping them to 35ish if I remember correctly. I ran 13.0-13.2 consistently on my 20s with a 305/55/20 at 55psi then tried my pyo's and slmost every run was dead nuts at 13.00 or down to 12.93. what altitude are you racing at, just curious? How is the smoke level for the first 1/8th? ....looks like you have the mph for a 12 run, wondering if you are heavy on fuel on the low end for being at altitude. my truck would freight train on the low end when I lived at 7k' and would clean up well at 1k'.

Back with just my 66mm and LBZ regulator my best was 12.98 @ 103mph with a 1.77 60ft. Fuel was my limiting factor on that. Your mph I think says it needs more fuel still. Did Wade tune it back with the failing CP3? He may have compensated a bit.

Not sure if this helps, smoke cleans up pretty quick, as for altitude, I'm at bandimere.. Mile high:)

He tuned it as close as he could with a bad regulator, is it 100% dialed in? I'm not sure to be honest...just have to ask tho, what rp should be commanded with this fleece cp3? Its stock volume with high rpm flow mods

I'm at 4300' with 30% overs s366 and lift pump I was able to get a12.86 @ 104.9 1.825 60'. Ran damn clean. I have dual fuelers now so we will see where that gets me when it's not so hot

Your trap speed shows you just aren't making enough power to run 12s. It's either a mechanical problem or a tuning problem.

FML :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: hopefully its tuning, my cs just died on me, so I'm boned on monitoring rp at the moment. Frustrating adding the pump and plug to net .7 seconds

I ran in the diesel shootout here with my dual pumps and didn't really pick up a whole lot. I am hoping it was the heat messing with it but we will see.

Being that you ran at night Bandimere's horrible dynamic altitude would have been biased in your favor for sure. Rail pressure depends on how Wade tuned it. I'd give Wade a call and run it by him. Great dude to bullshit with. He may have some pulse taken out of the tune to compensate for the old weak pump.

Let me know if you plan on going one more time. I've gotta get one more run in before the snow drops!

I sent him a message last night, I plan on going next wed as well (work pending)

You have a lbz regulator on the pump?

Its the regulator that comes with the cp3k, which requires you to rescale. I'd have to call fleece but I'm pretty sure its an lbz reg.

Work slowed down for me last week so I'm going to try to head down Wednesday and get some good runs in. Let me know if you'll be able to make it! I'll hopefully be with my Cummins buddy who is shooting for 11 seconds out of his P-pumped 24valve.

I tend to disagree respectively... He is right there with the trap speed to run 12s... I have numerous slips that are a 12.9x @ 102.1x-102.3. He has the power, the time slips he provided show his truck is doing well on the back half... its the first half that needs attention

the 60' times could be better, my 12.9x runs have all been around 1.71-1.74. It looks like the 60'-330' mark is where it seems to be falling a bit.... how is the truck shifting, does it seem to get hung up in a gear? When do you feel the converter lock? Do you have a lock up box or the efi tuning for it?

here are a few of my slips for comparison purposes...

No lock box, just efi tuned. As for the shifting, it sure isn't as hard hitting as it once was, I've had numerous issues with my trans, but, I'd need someone with some experience to run it to see what I'm trying to explain lol. Its almost like the shifts are taking just a little to long to happen between gears, (if that makes sense) What kind of tires/wheels were you running? I'm also running stock shocks and the truck squats a ton when it launches. Soon as I get my front diff facing the right direction I'll go back down and try some things. Pretty new to the strip so its a trial and error for me at this point.

You have almost a full mph more trap than most of his slips. He definitely has room for improvement, but under normal conditions, I don't see him running 12s consistently with a mid to low 101 trap speed. Sure the stars could align and he could do a 12.9, but that would be the exception, not the norm. If he could get the power to be consistently trapping 102+ and figure out the front half, he could do 12s all day long.

I completely understand what you are talking about with the shifting... a few years ago I tried experimenting with doing half a build on a trans. I did all the pressure mods (Mike L springs, Transgo shift kit) and then put an Upgrade C3 Alto kit in it, piston/steels/frictions. The kit had one more friction and steel over stock. Didn't have the money at the time to do a full build, and I had smoked the stock trans, did the "build" on a spare trans I had lying around). That half built trans as I called it, did the same thing with funny shifts, so I ended up pulling it back out. checked the clearances on the clutches and they had compressed a fair amount... well out of tolerance. So I guess what I'm saying is your clutches could've compressed or worn down a bit over time and the TCM is slow at learning the "updated" tolerances. I know my truck acts different in 4Hi going down the strip than it does in 2Hi on the streets. Does it feel like it bangs into any gear, ie a tie up? (just trying to think of what could cause a slow shift without changing the tuning)

The tires I raced on for those time slips were a snow tire of all things (sticky, soft rubber). They are 285/65/16 on the pyo's at 35 psi if I am remembering correctly. I am running traction bars that I built (T&B fab style/ Chevy1925 on here), bilstein 5100 shocks and I have the overloads pulled. I'm pretty sure my truck doesn't squat to bad. You are definitely loosing a bit because of energy that goes into squatting the truck. What kind of traction bars are you using, how do they mount to the axle?

I completely agree. Sorry, I guess I focused on his 102 slip over the others. From my experiences I had slower E/T's at 103x mph vs 102.x. As we all seem to be talking about, it looks like he is loosing time in the first 1/8th.

You didn't happen to go last night did you? I saw Wade was there. I got tied into work but so far next Wednesday is a go!

No I couldn't make it down, I've got a twisted front diff I'm dealing with, hopefully have it ready in time for next wed. Id like to meet you down there and get your input on it.

My "traction bars" are more axle wrap bars...they are 60" cognito bars. Bolted to the frame then hinge welded to the bottom of the axle. I do still have air bags, but I'm not sure if that would help by stiffening the rear "squat" or not. As for the shifting, it bangs pretty hard on the 1-2, then its waaayy softer on the 2-3, then 3,4 and 5 are decent. Like yours, it acts a lot different in 4x vs 2x at wot.

Your bars sound like they are about the same as mine... so I don't have any ideas as to why your trucks squats so bad.

Does the 1-2 shift bang at different partial throttle positions or just at wot?
