The LLY will be better but not sure if you could get it to fit in a LBZ. And you would have to make provisions for the air temp sensor.

my truck is an 05 LLY, so I dont have the secondary intake air temp sensor....so in that case on the engine Im building for my truck, Ill use stock LLY runners, and a modified LB7 intake bridge...that would be better in your opinion than using LBZ/LMM runners and a modified LBZ van bridge??

Hmmm that sure is a suprise, makes sense though thinking about it. But just my opinion, does the flow really matter much? In a N/A engine sure it does, but something boosted? Could help keep air cool I guess?? Thats the thinking that kept me from porting my heads and upgrading my exhaust to high flow manifolds, or "headers" as some people call them. Not sure why they call them that btw.

Porting your heads makes the motor more efficent it lowers the boost #s but thats because you make it more efficent you still get the same amount of air and you can handle alot more depending on how far you go.My heads were flowed 30 cfm more intake and 60 cfm exhaust after porting.Lowers egts also and your charge air is even a little cooler because your tubo isnt working as hard.Spool is quicker and the engine is more responsive.

The PPE high flow bridge was my design and PPE took it over back in the day. It was the best thing at the time. Now with my High flow bridges tested against PPE's bridge we can flow 100% more airflow.
