Jonathan, have you thought about buying Ed's engine? not sure how much damage is done to the block from the piston but you would still have rods, turbo, fuelers, heads as lon as they didnt get damaged either. not sure how much it would be to rebuild but just a thought.

how can you test a set of pistons to make sure they are good before sending them to Guy? i have a spare motor and would like to use them if able to and if it could save me money (as long as i dont paymore in th end)

I wasn't aware of Ed's motor situation. Sorry to hear that. I won't be able to build my motor until next fall.

yea i read about it th other day. was looking forward to watching him and Dustin race this yr too.

I had roughly 1k in my pistons with mods and coatings. Then rings vary from 300-700 depending on where you get them. SoCal had the best price on rings. The only problem I saw with them is that the second rings have much larger end gaps than most would prefer. I haven't had any problem with them yet and have about 30k on the motor.
