Mike Moore's Twin Build @ DHD

Here are some pictures of the build we did for Mike Moore this winter. We built the motor for him previously and this year he wanted to go with a big twin kit. We did up a custom kit which consisted of a Bullseye S483/96 TCT & S366/74. Due to the size of the charger we remote mounted the FICM, and color matched all the piping to the engine. Exhaust piping was thermal coated and heat-wrapped to reduce under-hood temps and help charger spool-up. We pulled the injectors and had Exergy do up a set of 100% overs and are feeding those sticks with a new FASS 260gph lift pump. The Allison was next on the list, and we freshened it up with 300M Billet Input & Output shafts, P2 Planetary Hub, and C2 Drive Hub. Tuning was all done at Danville Performance on the rollers with Mark Broviak.

Forgot to mention probably the most important thing... Mike daily drives this truck and isn't afraid to push it to the limits. Check out the pictures of the intercooler that was blown apart at it first trip to Mid Michigan. We pulled out he fabricated intercooler and put a cast intercooler in the truck so Mike could take the truck and get some accurate times at the races. Truck ended up running a 10.27 @ 133 mph! Truck weighs 6820 lbs with the driver.

Pretty awesome for that turbo setup and weight. Plenty of people with a lot bigger setups that haven't went that fast. Looks great too.

Max EGT was 1600 and max boost was 80 psi

We used our hot side pipe and it was a custom ped with the wastegate intergrated.

I meant the hot pipe as in the pipe going from the back of the 66 to the 480 not the ic hot side pipe. Whos ped was it?
