Mike, How do I get in touch with you to order the cooler plug? I'll be home this weekend and plan on ordering on after the 4th if it will help the trans temps and does not harm it.

Don't know how keeping one cooler would hurt, but with the tolerances of things built in today's era, they may be using the heat to increase clearances or thin the oil to the viscosity they need it. Either way, if Mike approves of it in the Allison, I'll stick by him.

Call the shop # or the cell number in my signature and I'll ship one out.
The reason for the cooler line block is to send most of the hot fluid back into the trans and keep the fluid hot and thin for less drag on the engine. This will increase fuel mileage by .02%. All vehichle manufacturers are installing these PS. They even stuck one on my Hellcat which I removed.

Setrab cooler for the 6 speeds are due in 2 weeks. I'm testing a new cooler that so far is kicking ass on everything out there. Stay tuned.
We have done a test on the 6 speed coolers from all manufacturers. Same truck, same driver same temps. you guys that bought cheap will be disappointed as the aftermarket coolers from china run hotter than stock. I have the data.

Is this new cooler going to be for all generations you have now or just 6 speeds? How does the new cooler compare to the Mishimoto?

someones bitter over proper R&D not being done fast enough before he bought a PPE cooler.
I don't care... my ppe cools better than stock after the pressure solenoid mod. I am okay with buying a new cooler if it is better. My point is I have 26xxx on the odo.... hell I have saved for a new truck and can pay cash. My truck is 9.5 Years old. I live in Phoenix it is hot but the ppe did help.

Also note I wanted to give Mike the money first.... not a big deal. I do like the ppe, can give that away to a few friends in case grande.... I am not complaining, just saying the ppe worked but I will buy a Mike l because I want to support him and his work/help. Also I think the ppe from my testing keep it about 80° above ambient in phx from my testing assuming you you can trust the dash....

Also I have this to protect from rocks... which might restrict air flow...

It's been about a year since I got my cooler from Mike. This is one great trans cooler. In 100f+ temps I used to see 220-225 trans temps. Now I average around 200f. In summer the area I live in averages 100f +-10f.

This is one of the best investments I have made for my truck.
