Midwest Members: interested in EFI-Live school?

Im down for anything, but i really think we should look at the farthest two people maybe or where the mass of the group is in relation to where its held at.

If we have 7 people within a 2hr drive of the chicago area or indianapolis or something, it'd seem like it'd make more sense. of course..we're the midwest, so chances of having 2 people within a state of each other is pretty rare :rofl:

As far as tuning, im fine with brayden. Just hope i can scrounge up enough cash this spring to get efi

well there are atleast 5 of us in iowa maybe more. where are you at in IL. i am not against going somewhere its just we have a place here to hold it that we dont have to pay to use

I'm not as concerned with location as i am with the dates.
I can try to get a run headed that direction or worse case load up the wife, dog and camper make a camping trip out of it. Point the wife toward a mall she'll be busy for a day or 2.

im really not to far from iowa, so its not a huge issue for me, think im 4.5hrs away. Couple of really good golf courses around waterloo i go to now and then lol.

Think its possible to do like a friday evening session for basics, and then maybe a long saturday class for more hands on/technical? I'd really like to be headed back home on sunday for work and im not sure if i could get friday and monday off (dates matter because i start my new job on my birthday of june 28th which is more flexible.)

I would be interested also. Live by Quad Cities. Randalls in gladstone may be a central location (Burlington IA) 45 min from Quad Cities. Possibly have shop "class" and then try out Dyno?? I can check with Brian if interested. I am guessing he would be game. Thanks, Jeff

Our shop is walking distance from the Mall.... Who do you guys intend on teaching this class?

I hope someone is staying on top of this. I am about to get my EFI and I really want to know how to completely operate it and make my own tunes that won't blow up my dmax.

Dont know where we are at in finding an efi class instructor. I know Nick was mentioned earlier. I shot him an email, he said he'd be happy to come to Iowa to teach it, if we are interested. So let me know I'll forward the email to whoever is organizing this, or call email him if thats the way we want to go.

EFI is the cheap part. Fixing crap that brakes after you tune with EFI gets spendy :rofl: But you already knew that

As far as who to teach the class, I say go look up the thread about Nicks last class in the south and ask the people who attended how they feel about him.

haha i know that i'm just trying to get rid of my ppe standard to a couple kids around my area then i'll get it!! and i don't know anyone in my area with efi live anyways! so i would kinda need the class to catch me up on things
