You must have been at Diego's, I made that mistake about 5 years ago and asked them what exactly barbacoa was. Needless to say I never ordered it again. But their spicy guiso is really good.

I always loved Diego's, I had a friend that worked there and I would go in there just about every morning before class and get 2 burritos and a coke for two bucks. You just can't beat that.

I did the same thing you did Larry. Except I use to work a vet clinic and could taste the cheek. And the only reason I could taste it is cause I had smelled it every day for 3 years. If that makes sense.

I used to work with two mexican brothers. They would bring stuff in that their wives had made the night prior. Always delicious. I only asked what it was after I tried it. To this day barbacoa/cabeza and tongue were probably my favorites. Yum! :D

Alot of other places besides the US eats alot of foods that we dont!

Anyone ever watch Bizzare Foods on the travel channel? Id eat a few things he does but most of it, id be green:rofl: Still, intresting to watch. Im sure the rest of the world thinks our eats are nasty.

I like barbacoa. Real hot dogs and hot links, the casing there in is intestine's, odd, and kinda gross if you dwell on it, but still tasty! 1/2 our family is german and we eat some odd stuff too.
