Was standing in line getting my usual 2 burrito lunch and the lady in front of me was getting a brisket burrito, Well, the brisket is in the tray next to the barbacoa (which looks the same as brisket) and I have always gotten the barbacoa because it has jalepenos and onions mixed in it. Anyway, I ordered my usual and like a dumbass, when I got to the register to pay, I asked the lady what the difference was in brisket and barbacoa, as you can guess, I stopped at the hamburger stand on the way home after leaving the burrito place :barf:

Barbacoa is slow cooked cow head. Pork cooked like this is carnitas.

I love barbacoa....there's a bad azz taco shop by my office that has the best barbacoa I've found anywhere.

If that freaks you out....you might not wanna try the menudo. LOL

You eat bacon and pork chops too. Its actually very good and most of it usually comes from the cheeks area. Not to worried about it-now-menudo-thats the sick thing there-who eats intestines? My wife (mexican) keeps trying to get me to eat menudo but it tastes bland and then trying to chew up the "meat" is like chewing on plastic-you get nowhere and you feel like your doing something wrong.
