At this time, Im not sure what the future holds. hehehe Maybe a supercharger?

Yeah, its got the 2.73s. I keep reading that for the cost of installing the 3.15s, a person should just jump to 3.42s with a better converter.
With 3.42's you don't need a better converter. Oh, and I'm a young 71, not 75.

Tom,

You could always transfer the 1/2 ton Dmax motor into the vette???

Congrats Tom,

My son has a 2001/6 speed.

We had to resolve the solder joints on the ABS Module, resolve the DS Door Module issues, we di brakes F/R and full fluid flush.

The fun one was last May, we had to replace the clutch......

Repaired the headlight motors, replaced the turn signal housings (burn holes due to bulb heat), upgraded the keyless entry/TPMS module to 01-04 model type, new visors, new weatherstrip on targa top. Just waiting on parts to repair the drivers seat bottom and the seat adjuster rocking issue. All in all, easy and inexpensive repairs, but all necessary over the life of one of these cars.
I'm amazed at the upgrade potentials, too. Corvette people are more nutso than we are. :hehe:

Thanks for that reminder. CLD was done back in 01, so no worries. :)

Did anyone else notice that Mike gave away his actual age? Ive known him 15 years and he's never done that before. :hehe:

Damn, Vette guys are like we used to be.

Remember the early days of Duramax trucks, when most of the owners were older guys, and if you saw another Dmax you gave them a little wave and got one back? Well, its like that.

I miss that about this hobby.

New belts and pulleys installed. That squeak is finally gone. :hehe:
12 disc changer put back in its proper place and working. That made me smile. :)
Decided to change out the battery after it died when we were doing the headlight gears. Im finding that these cars are very much like our trucks electronically.

...and two hours later, the driver's seat foam is repaired (yep, the wires cut through the foam), as is the "rocking" of the seat track (replace destroyed rubber bushings with nylon washers). Simple, easy repairs.

Im done for now. Well....maybe not....

I got mine from my dad's estate, he was a freak, got a new one every other year my entire life. He was waiting on the 18 deals this year to upgrade. I'm going to wait for the mid engine now...
