Me v.s. DPC competitor

Me against Nate Berges (http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=18) trying to set up a fuel only race through a mutual friend. i've talked to nate a few times he seems like a cool guy. this just this would be just for fun as i know he could turn on the bottle and completely destroy me ( hes looking for high 10's)

just figured ide see what everyone thinks...we both figure it to be somewhat close. wont be going down for a little while though hes getting ready for DPC and i still need to get my race tune and dial it in:coolspot:

its a 6.0 and hes only running a single II turbo. i think he told me its a 64mm

my best is 13.5 before the built trans and race tune...new numbers coming shortly. i think his best time previously on fuel was a 13.1 but he just changed a bunch of stuff so now he thinks he'll be in the 12.6 range

hes going to DPC cause he has a fully built motor and a very large bottle...doesn't matter how you run the number long as you do it. think of him as the camomax of the PSD world lol

he hasen't run it yet and hes on his was to Tx to see eric right now i believe for a new tune. he told me he's hoping for 10.80's on the bottle.

oh i have no doubts at all. but i think nate was being honest when he said what he thinks it would run fuel only... and i think i should be in a similar area or i hope anyways:angel:

almost 2 sec. in the quarter spraying?? thats seems like a huge stretch to me, especially with a 6.0...maybe with twins it would be more realistic....

im just goin by what he tells me. i trust what hes saying i know hes got serious bucks into that truck.


hes only running a 64mm II single going off that i feel that a mid-high twelve sounds about right with fuel only.

hes gonna do some serious spraying....i dont see why its not possible to take off 2 seconds. after all look what camomax did with a stock turbo and spray

what you guys dont know...the ford guys when cheating with nitrous can spray from 13s to 11s easily. did you see the ford in the most recent diesel power? thing did like 450rhwp on #2 and sprayed to over 1000rwhp. haha what a joke.

i know he put down 700 and change at DPC but what i dont know is if he was spraying while he did that...

I would put money on it that he was spraying it as hard as he could.

i have no doubt he was going all out but i kinda think something didnt go right, maybe only got one stage or something because i know hes got oddles into that truck and should be a bit higher then that.

negative,....its been proving hard to set up. last few times i texted him i got nothing we have mutual friends and we've met a few times but we don't really hang out...


the real question is...the 700+hp he put down at DPC was/was not n2o assisted....

If he put down 700 fuel only you still have a good shot. Those Fords are heavy pigs.
