I have a set of LLY 30% over MDE nozzles still waiting to be installed.
MDE has not been mentioned here in 10+ years, I do remember Pat running them.
Anyone still running them? I remember them being a little tricky to tune as the 10 holes
were a little smaller than stock and flow at low pressures was less than stock but as
pressure increased they flowed the +30% as advertised.
Would you still install them today or go for a different nozzle?
What is the consensus as far as oversized injectors is concerned in regards to smoke/knock/driveability?
Is 30% 45% or even bigger possible while keeping more or less stock engine behavior?

I have 60% DDP injectors and I have tune 1 setup to to feel like a stock truck. It's only 1200us or so.

My injectors below 120mpa and 1000us flow about 15-25% less than the stock injectors. 120mpa and 1000us is kind of the crossover from what I've learned. The interesting part is I've had these for about 3yrs now, and they seem to flow MORE vs when they were new. When they were new I needed 25-30% more pilot us to not have fuel knock/pressure knock. Now I can run stock and even 5% less than stock. They drive much cleaner now also.

That's interesting. I would think the way they were manufactured that you wouldn't have to adjust them over time. I would think they were more consistent than other brands.
