wow, what a job this turned out to be. We arrived in Texas without 4x4, no rail pressure, no gauges, no shift signal, no charging system. We kept after it and finally made some decent passes. I gave Andrea some bad advise and she unfortunatly pushed through the brakes on her first ever SS elimination pass for a red light. The truck went 9.6x @ 148mph on fuel only rolling off the starting line for the final pass of the day with a friend licensing who had never driven the truck.

SoCal LBZ Engine coupled with the Calvin's Trans and Suncoast converter is looking very promising. 10 days from putting the new engine/trans/converter/fuel/etc. and it goes 1mph slower than it's best ever time is pretty cool. Andrea will have some seat time before the next event and should be a force.

Yes Tom. She has taken over the driving for Max'd Out this year. The truck appears to be very pissed about it as it is fighting me on every turn. Should be interesting to see if they get along, or I burn the truck to the ground first....

She has been 9.1's @ 150+ in door cars before and has placed very well in diesel events running street trucks, but the first time she has been in Max'd Out was this weekend. I didn't even have a tach or boost numbers for her to spool off of. My bad for not giving her something to work with. I will get that straightened out.

Keep your head up Rob...can't expect to land on the moon first launch off the pad. Knowing you and your crew, it'll be where you think it should before the season is over. :D

I bet she will have better times than you Rob just in the fact she is lighter. Also she has the cool factor on her side as we need more female drivers.

If I remember Kat ran Casper faster than Pat did too.

She will run faster than you because she doesn't have all that technical crap on her mind as you do. Us tech guys will sometimes say " was that a noise? wonder what that was? " A woman on the other hand will say " where's the radio knob? I hate this noise and then step on the beasts neck ":roflmao::D
