north ogden, ut
may want to check out some of the racks they make for sandrails, they might be a little light but they do make some decent sized ones and power racks too and they're aluminum too

Trent, moving that much weight that far back i feel will give you negitive effects. weight transfer is a funny thing, and on a 4x4 is even more important, because you need traction on all 4 wheels not the back two.

we played with this a few years ago when i was running my silver truck and i kept taking weight off the front and our traction got worse and worse,The front tires would spin, but i had no locker or anything. eventually we found that the weight up front was a good thing, weight % was 70/30, but remember during inertia(launch), the weight will transfer as much as 40%

It seems that for the few 10ths your going to pick up it might be cheaper to just add a little more fuel and air :thumb:

Thats a good point , I could see how 50% would be too much , maybe I am over thinking it , with the 4link I never did have traction issue's per say , after getting dialed in at the end even if i launched too hard and the tires broke it still would stick 1.6's , and had a few 1.52's on soft launch's , never did find the "sweet spot" ran out of time , it's closer any way , still needs some tweaking.
I still believe the rear needs more weight and the front less , with my truck even down to 15-17 psi in rear tires doesn't even flatten the tread all the way , but am moving a bunch of stuff to the rear anyway , maybe it will be enough .

Its getting that too :D

I've got scales if you want to borrow...

Hitting it softer and netting a better 60ft tells me you need a progressive boost controller..:cool2:

We'll see and ya i agree the truth is in the "middle" , my last 2 events I was fighting pretty bad exhaust leaks , turbo's were kinda "On" or "Off" and even on wouldnt clean up well until the 1/8 mile  where as when i first put them on I could get 2-5 psi out of the big one while staging, so I cant say for sure the chassis is at fault , the last event I would just get on them as hard as i could just to ensure they would light to make sure I won the round , new turbo setup should be bigger air and light easier if my plan goes right .

Well trent i hope this helps, i use the controller from NLR it's the AMS 1000. it's good for 100psi
