Matt , put a pointed chisel in air hammer . Dot the nut straight a bit to make a tiny spot that will be where you hit it at and the dot will keep it from slipping . Angle the bit in the dot and slowly trigger it . You will see it start moving . You will need to move back and do again a few flats of the nut back . Dot it again and angle it and hit it again . That should be enough that it just turns freely .
If your good you will end up with a dot on 2 flats of the nut . To reinstall just do in reverse procedure .
Very Easy if your not a hack .
