I'd rather buy headers but this is making it tough to pass up. Do you think i would notice any real difference with my setup?
edit: header vs your manifolds. Not vs stock

The sound is the biggest reason I want them over the manifolds but idk if sound is worth the extra $600 or whatever it works out to

I personally have not notice a sound difference?? one truck had headers one had ppe manifolds exhaust didnt sound much different but maybe i just didn't pay attention

Our truck ran faster on the headers, but the manifolds and up pipes were close.

Honestly, you wont be saying "holy smokes that truck sounds 10times different now that I have Stainless headers, unless they are equal length. Turbine specs, tuning, headwork, and exhaust design all have large effects on truck sound, moreso than header material

Tim your truck is the reason I wanted headers haha. But I know yours are a totally different design and I know there is a whole lot more to that sound than just the exhaust. I just don't want to get manifolds and kick myself down the road.

I had headers and didn't get a chance to install them and sold them about 2 years ago

Rick is there any spool differences with the bigger headers/uppipes vs. manifolds/uppipes?

None that I have seen. Seems like where the headers leave the manifolds is in the upper RPM.
