We finally settled on going to the race in Gainesville, Florida instead. Hopefully we'll make it to Scheid's next year.
Me and some friends will be there, bringing a 3.0 truck. We just got our room yesterday at the royal inn, it was less than $60 a night. They still had rooms available so you might try them.
He'll, I bet a called or checked online for a dozen hotels last night. ALL booked. Supposedly habeeb has me reserved for one but they wouldn't let you resrve with card, only your name and they are certain they'll have a room for me. I have my doubts! We shall see.
I have a buddy who got a hotel room and is not going I might can his for you ill go call him right now if your interested in it

He said he was going to cancel it tomarrow I forgot to ask which hotel it was but I know he had for friday and saturday night

I made it....ended up finding a room for 120 bucks for one night!...Although you had to swipe a card in the elevator to even get on our floor!! lol... It was a good time... My truck was sitting my the main entrance all day saturday with my idiot friends partying all over it!! I watched the pulls.....they didn't make it inside!
