Trey, Dustin sent me a vid of your truck. looked real good in that win go give Wade hell dont be scared of a little extra displacement

Sup man, yeah I was a good pull. There was a bad bump in the track probably 100 foot out.. I told the official but he hated me, so you know I got a lot done with that.. I can't wait for the next pull, I have been looking all over for some tractor weights but they are hard to find when you live at the beach...

You could make a rack for a toolbox and then load it up with sandbags. And no i didnt just think that up I have seen two trucks with that setup.

I put a thread on here last year and got alot of good ideas. It took us way to long to finish it but here's what we came up with.

My bro is a machinist so we just used extra stock they had laying around, 2" solid stock for the horizontals, 1 1/2"x13" solid stock for the verticals with 1/2" plate on the front. It works great. Holds 1k lbs of weight plus with it being solid the rack itself weighs about 150lbs.

Mine is pretty much like JD4440 has, uses the bolt holes that the tow hooks come out of. 3" tubing fits the chassis perfect. Mine is close to the bumper, works well with IH weights, I would have to take off the bumper for JD weights. Congrats on the win the other night, my old man came in 2nd. Maybe I'll have my truck back together for the next pull, and I'll see you in the Mod class.

I finally got a chance to load the video from the pull, Was your dad driving a ford?

He has a dark gray 04 duramax with black DC1s, pulled right after you, 333 feet. There was a Ford or 2 that did pretty good, though.

I need Ih weights if anyone is close. Not paying a buck a pound, especially if there not stamped. Just whoever reads this....

I only did that to see how many it will hold. I only run 11 on the rack and 4 in the bed. 8500lbs
I always wondered that. Figured it was too heavy for any std classes.

R u making it so you can easly take it on and off. Moving them weights around 4 times a pull gets old really fast and your truck is taller than mine.

Yeah it will connect into 2 Reece style inlets that will be welded to my frame..2 pins and it's out. And very stable..I am making a basket style rack that holds weight on the Side and front.. I Have 6 weights and if I come across any weight cheap and I dosnt fit Incan throw em in the basket..
