I am begining to start a build and keep going back and forth about running main studs. who here are running them and who are not? The motor will have a s475 on to start with and then be twinned after my bank account recovers from the build lol.

Do main studs. They aren't extremely expensive. And what good is a badass set of rods if they are gonna come unglued

Studs are pretty cheap. I put them in mine and would recommend them

X2 , I have ran plenty with out them so it can be done , but considering the bolts need to be replaced any way ( one time use / torque to yield ) the extra cost to do main studs in worth it IMOP , and don't even change the cost of a build by more than a few hundred dollars once you subtract the cost of stock main bolts .
