Hey Chilly, how large are the injectors your buddy is running? The truck that had bad haze at stoplights?

LBZ nozzles are all sac style. Sac can haze a little more at idle than a vco in some engines.

Thats pretty large. Do you know what injector he is running? Sac? VCO?

Seems to be the norm. Rarely will someone suggest something smaller, gotta have that "room to grow". I can't remember the last time someone recommended a 30-45% nozzle.

500hp trucks should have 60% injectors in my opinion. 100’s don’t leave much room to grow.

Well I just ordered some oval pistons last night. I think I'll deal with a little haze vs. rebuilding my engine again... Went with 16.5CR with twin turbos. Hope it isn't to much but would like to keep the haze to a minimum.

You'll be fine on compression ratio. 16.5:1 is a good ratio for a daily driver year round, especially in cold weather.

I found a CR calculator in an old thread. Can anyone confirm that the piston chamber volume on a set of oval pistons is 42.00cc?

Thanks
