So I did a search into why everyone was saying the 2nd gear thing is so bad as last I heard it was working at lower hp levels.

Somehow about a year ago maybe a little longer than that I missed A PILE of threads about how bad it is. Must have been when I was overseas.

My sled pulling tcm tune starts in 2nd gear

I reversed the fins on three 1057's before switching to a 1054. I've never had an issue with the 1054, and beat the hell out of it. my truck only saw 2nd gear launches 3-4 times, i think it's the way i like to stage that was eating them up. I still stall the 1054 to 2400rpm, just like i did the 57.
