Hey guys I really looking at getting the 275/55-16 for my pyos for the track. But I wondering where my rpms will be in the traps with my 5 speed? I usually run 105-110 in the 1/4. Most of the time I race on 265/75-16. Maybe Pat or Kat can chime on in this. I just done wanna over rev and float valves. I have my limiter set at 3900.

I cut numerous low 1.50's on these tires. So much more consistent then street tires too

The consistency is what I love about them!! I have the M&H on pyo

I haven't been back to the track to leave at full effort but in the 11.90 class leaving around 10-13psi was netting a 1.65-1.69 60' and very repeatable. With traction bars on it now, I'm hoping for some of those 1.5's Kyle talks about! Best is a 1.61 with just leaf clamps on the rear, the traction bars on now definitely helped smooth the launch.

If you go to the track often, they are worth having for sure. Just hooks so smooth!

I'll be rebuilding my front end with Moog and installing Tony's brace since I bent my cognitos. Guess I'll try theses tires out!

Nice! What kind of steering components do you have on your truck? Those are some sick 60' times!

Sleeves and Cognito braces, QA1's all around, Caltracs, 26-28psi front tires, 16-18psi rears, usually leave around 25-30#'s boost, and Ryan Funk helping me set it up. He is a really big help, he usually cuts high 1.40's so I take everything he tells me to heart lol

How do you not push through the brakes at 25-30 #s of boost?

I don't really have an answer for that lol. I guess I push the pedal extra hard lol. But seriously, it hasn't really ever had trouble with pushing. I guess just a good converter and turbo and tuning setup.

I had a lot of trouble until Quinton told me to pull the ABS fuse and that helped a lot. Don't ask me how but it definitely helped. Your converter is probably a lot looser than mine which helps. I will be installing better brakes and bleed the system soon. It should help. We will see.
