Thinking about a buying a different ride and was wondering if anyone had a good tune for the Ls6. Mileage and power. Thanks James

The factory LS6 tuning is pretty good in the Corvette. You aren't going to improve it much. Zero out the IAT Retard table, bump up to 24 deg timing at WOT with race gas, and lean it out about 2% and perhaps you'll see 20HP on a dyno.

they will get 30+mpg highway cruising at the same speed that the duramax gets 20 mpg. 1 6 if you drive hard everywhere in town, 17-19 if you drive normally. it really is pretty amazing what these cars will get for mileage with their power. in a c5 you are looking at over 20mpg city (driving easy) and just under 35mpg highway just cruising. :)

So the factory under rated the mpg figures 6+MPG? I doubt that.

Open loop vs Closed loop. Decent power, aerodynamic, light weight. All this adds up to fuel mileage.
