I have a set of stock LMM 17" dually wheels also for when i dont run my 24s. They clear the lowing spindles nicely.

I put DJM lowering spindles on my truck. Its about backspacing with mine. Had 17" H2 wheels on my truck and the backspacing was too much. The edge of the wheel ran into the lower ball joint and I had to modify the bolt and nut to make it work. Wasnt comfortable with it. So I ordered Cragar soft 8's, the 17x8's and now have the H2's sittin in my garage awaiting a new home. The wheel sits away from my lower ball joints nicely now. I feel much better about it.

If you get a DJM spindle, it only says a minimum of 17 inch wheel. Need 4.5 inch backspacing on your wheel or wheel spacers if you wanted. As for 20's, I dont think it matters a whole lot due to the fact of how big the wheel is.

I've got the DJM 6" arms on the drag truck, dropped even further with coilovers. The frame sits exactly 4" off the ground. They are about twice as heavy as stock arms, and the quality (other then the powder coating) looks good.

Is there room for Caltracs after the drop you put under it? I like the way the help launch and that truck after drop job looks pretty close under the leaf springs for Caltrac to not hit or drag on unexpected dips or pothole stuff we manage to find in regular driving.
