I lowered my truck with 3" drop shackles and let the front down a bit too a while back and it now rides a little rougher. What are my options to get closer to factory ride. I know there are quite a few of you that have done this too and just looking to see what you have done to smooth the ride out. I love how the truck looks a little lower. I know the stock shocks and lower profile tires don't help any.

I don't really want to pull a leaf cause I still haul with it once in a while. How about hangers, putting the leaf springs back to stock angle. And gmduramax are you talking about bump stops up front? What are you guys running for shocks? My brother says it rides like a old lumber wagon

You have to take a leaf out to make the rear end ride better than stock. Drop shackles should have not made the ride any different than it was when stock. If you messed with the torsion bars up front then that would have effected your ride quality but rear shackles will not effect the ride quality. If you want a really nice riding lowered truck your best bet is to just buy a Djm 3/5 lowering kit for 600 bucks. My truck rides better than a cadillac sts but i dont have overloads and im also missing some rear leafs:D
