If you flip the axle to spring under, you also gain more axle control. Meaning your axle wrap will be far less and the truck will feel more planted on launch

Exactly. Best of all aspects from what I've been thinking. Should be a big drop though around 6"...

And I would assume I could still run caltracs...

axle wrap bars accomplish the same thing but better than just an axle flip kit. we make enough torque that even in a spring under condition and full leaf pack, you get axle wrap. its just not near as bad as spring over.

running spring under wont let you run cal tracs though due to how they mount at the axle. they make a setup to run them vise versa but i have not seen anything

I'm always out and about. Usually on that side of town on the weekends. Sounds good to me!

What is the backspacing on your wheels? or do you run spacers on the rear? Looks like your stick out farther than my 20x10's -12

The only way for the front to match to match the rear in width on a stock UCA, LCA truck is by using a 1" spacer on both wheels at the rear to "match" the front to the rear, the 2001-2006 trucks are 2" wider in the front than the rear, thus you need a 1" spacer. For some of us (me) looks were secondary and spacers were installed for better truck stability....:thumb:

Here's how my truck sits now. 2" mcgaughys drop spindles with bolts relaxed. And djm hanger/shackle with OL pulled.
