Sweet:thumb:

4wd? I think some big super singles out back would be cool, and different
Yes, it is 4wd. The plan was for super singles, but I think he had trouble finding tires that were wide enough without being super tall or not a 15" wheel.

Always loved the look of reg cab dually. Hard to find one around here without a wrecker on it.
This one started as a single wheel 2500.

Mant this guy does good work. I like the Tahoe front nose job looks real clean.
That truck actually started life as a half ton gasser. I think that's why the Tahoe front end worked. He said it wasn't such a simple swap on an HD truck. Something about the intercooler and radiator being taller or something.

what type tires are on the truck hes building?
They're Nitto NT450s.

Gonna be sick

That white one is in North Tx. Truckstop's Showroom huh? That's where I bought my truck from!!
I guess. That picture showed up on CompD a couple of months after he sold it.

Well, the truck is almost finished. It was put together enough to take it to the track last night. It did really well. It still has the stock transmission and no lift pump, but it still did pretty good. It was just a 1000' track, but here are the numbers from the best run of the night.

60'---1.7208
330'--5.3363
1/8---8.3693
MPH--80.63
1000'-10.9912
MPH--93.13

That would have been good for about a 13.2 in the 1/4.

Congrats

is that a LML front bumper??
Yes it is. Bumper and grille.

Looks sweet but need bigger rims or tires or both.
Yeah, the tires that are on it now are only 28" tall. He had a set of tires that were 30" tall, but since it is so low, they were rubbing on the fender when he turned. Now it bottoms out on any little bump so he's trying to sell these and get the taller ones to put back on.

He already has front spindles. I was just concerned about the angle of the CV axles since the spindles move them up in relation to the steering (I'll see if I can get a pic), but they did fine with 17lb boosted launches and low 1.7 60' times.

You are right about the cross member too. I think it's pretty high on the list.

Here are some update pictures of the interior. In case anyone doesn't know, this interior is not available in a regular cab. You can only get the work truck dash an flip down center seat console. The panels that are normally fake wood are actually a red marble type finish (same as the bowtie on the grille and tailgate). The shifter in the middle of the center console in front of the cup holders is for the transfer case. The seats are stock seats he had recovered. They are a real soft leather with red stitching and suede inserts. The console lid is also suede on top.
