Allison 6sp: Lower gears for 6spd ally

Why not just change the axle gear ratio if you want lower gears be alot easier and cheaper

Yeah you can swap the P1, P2, P3 planetaries out for parts from an Allison 2000/2400.

But...why...? You dont need lower gearing.

I was just trying to think of ways to maintain fuel mileage with more low end grunt for towing. But I cannot do anything serious to my truck till its paid off. Everyone says the tranny is the first mod I need to do.
