low smoke

whats the secret to getting low smoke on spool up. Without killing performance? If I roll into the throttle till wot it will just haze even when I go wide open. And thats with it fueling full. But if I floor it before boost comes up, its pretty smokey. I think a clean tune will be stronger also.

I say don't floor it if you don't have to. Stock turbo and lots of fuel = smoke. Then again I run a pretty big tune and I can floor it and have no smoke whereas with my ppe 300 tune if I mashed the accelerator from a stop it would let out a nice puff of smoke. I'm sure it's in the tuning

This will help lots of things. I'm not worried about WOT smoke control. Just want clean spool up. If its possible without bad throttle response

they have weird balance rates yes. The other day I checked them but they were all 0.## to 1.## lol. Some days are different then others but my worst one I think, but dont quote me has gone down to +/-4? But I don't think balance rates can effect smoke?? All they do is add fuel or take it away to spin the crank evenly.

Idaho rob has tunes that run clean with good power for big injector trucks? Max effort?? I'd like to see some videos if anyone has any.
