So is an underpowered 12 year old truck worth what a 3-5 yr old truck is worth just cause your a Ford fan boy and they still have not built a decent engine?

low mile 7.3's are very rare, if its under 100k thats a deal, but 38k miles...


Not worth 30k IMO, but over 25k. Dont dog on the 7.3, it may not have a lot of power, but they do last.

I'd maybe offer 1/2 of what he's asking. But I'm in no way a ford guy. You could get a pretty nice dmax or common rail for $30k

Its worth maybe half that imo for that kind of money you get get a nice LBZ or 6.4 powerstroke I paid $100 dollars more for my LMM with 81,000 miles

I'm not hating on the 7.3 but even if it had 0 miles is still 12 years old and is missing the power and features of newer trucks

IMO the 7.3 is the best motor ford has had for a diesel, BUT I would be no means pay 30000 for a 12 year old truck. I may pay around half that amount. Anyone one, Die hard ford guy or not, with any sense wouldnt pay that much, especially for being a stock truck at that. I think that guy was smoking something when he put that price!

Maybe that's what they are "worth" to some people, but that is nuts if so. The MSRP sticker price was only $38k.
