Low Fuel Rail Pressure

I believe that the next thing he is going to check is the desired pressure vs actual fuel pressure and return rates. He had done all that on the old engine and he did find that the desired pressure was not there. Then the engine tore up.

Sooo this truck had over 1 million miles on it? And sounds to me that the injectors were never replaced, but the cp3 was? Plus all new fuel lines.

You said the only thing transferred from old eng was fuel head , if thats so , there is a ball and spring inside the head that might be stuck ! On fuel filter delete we remove the ball and spring then grind the opening out to make it flow better . You might want to recheck it
