Low Coolant

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and thought I would ask a question regarding a coolant leak. I have searched the forum and read about all I could find about the various coolant leaks. I have a '04 Duramax with 115,000 miles on it. Truck runs great, never hot. I have noticed a small coolant leak. I never could find it, then I pulled my skid plate off and noticed a small leak coming from above where the lower radiator hose goes into the motor. Is this coming from the weep hole in the water pump? Or is it something different?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm picking up a water pump tomorrow. Hopefully I can get it put in this weekend and my problem is solved. Is it as simple as everyone has said it is? Any tricks of the trade I should know about? I saw the only big problem was the crank bolt.

I tried accessing the link, but it says my username and pasword isn't correct. I don't know why, I am logged in now. I just joined the forum, so maybe it won't let me access older threads. I will try again in a bit.

Does the radiator have to come out to get the water pump out? It looks like there should be enough room but I'm not sure.

I left my radiator in. My crankshaft bolt tool, 3/4" breaker bar, and about a 3' cheater bar. I bought a tool from Matco specifically for the duramax crankshaft bolt, comes with a flywheel lock and 36mm socket. Never thought it would be so easy. :D

I got my water pump today, it is just the pump itself and not the housing, I assume the housing comes off and then the pump itself is just inside. It looks pretty simple if that is all it is. Is this how they are usually sold?

I assume the Harmonic Balancer nut has left-handed threads? Can anyone confirm? The temps here aren't supposed to get out of the 20's this weekend, but hopefully I can take it to my buddy's shop and get the dang thing switched out.
