"love bugs"

Don't know if anyone has problems, in other areas of the country like we do in Texas, with the black bugs aka "love bugs" sticking to the front of your vehicle...

"SOLUTION"
Put some warm water in a bucket and use a fabric softener sheet or drier sheet...wet the affected area of the vehicle and the sheet. Wipe the bugs off!!!..works like a charm

Yep there really bad down here in south florida, spray on some degreaser but don't let it dry and use a good brush.

Skintback give the method I mentioned a try....I was totally amazed at how easy it was....I used the drier sheet(s) and warm water only....when I finished getting the bugs off then I used soap and a sponge and washed my truck....I haven't found anything in a can that works this good

Wonder if this works for other insect splats?

Yeah - a trip up to VT with the RV will leave your front end and windshield in tough shape. Headed up there in a week or so - if I get my truck back from GM. I can't wait to see if this works. Thanks for the tip.

Please tell me you guys don't use stiff bristled brushed on your paint and front end Thats terrible for your paint and leaves scratches everywhere. I use this(http://glimmerglassdetailing.com/bug-squash.html), spray it on, let it sit for a minute or two and it breaks down the bugs and other crap where ever you spray it. I use a sheep's-skin mitt to wash my truck because sponges and brushes scratch to paint if any dirt is stuck in them. (http://glimmerglassdetailing.com/shwami.html)

dont need a brush with the fabric softener sheets...didn't scratch the paint either
