Man I hate that Wes, how long has it been running since the head gasket job?

Last of Dec found the corn in my heads

Jan-Feb 12th in the shop, Clean the heads, Checked all the valves, New Head Gaskets, ARP head studs, 4500 manifolds, Remoute Mount turbo, stewert electric water pump

Drove the truck about 200 miles changed the oil

Drove the truck another 1000 miles changed the oil again

Drove it again for about another 400 miles then that is when the oil pressure dropped

I drove the truck back home, changed the oil again this morning oil had a light burn smell to it.

Cranked the truck this morning oil pressure went to around 70 just as soon as it cranked, drove about 8 miles to my grandmas house oil pressure stayed around 40 after it warmed up, let the truck cool all the back down started headed home and about a mile and a half before I got home oil pressure dropped again, I shot the vid from my phone and then it locked up

Ed 05smoker on the remote mount setup and it sounds freaking awesome I got to enjoy it for about a 1000 miles I will post a vid when the engine gets back. and on the converted truck he got it back to going and the last I heard he was going to send it off to get the lights and turn signals and stuff working, and his wife fussed about it so much that it got put in the shed all winter, he said he wants to finish it so bad but he wants to keep peace in the house as well so I still look for it to be at some of the workstock pulls this year

Im not sure just yet we think it bent a rod just a little when it locked up the first time with the corn accident and now since I have been driving it, it spun a main bearring

Bankers don't understand all the trouble you go to show him the results of the precision work and driving that it took to get to what it needs fixed. Expensive disease this diesel power fever.
