Lost keys

Ive seen a few of the late 80's toyota trucks that could be opened and started with pretty much any vehicle key. Since I got my new key my truck seems to know its not the same one and now the DIC says "driver2" and before it was always "driver1"

I think he lost the first remote with his keys and wallet

Yea I did lose the first remote with my keys and wallet. I just happened to have another remote just no other keys....Atleast with the second remote I could get in to get my registration papers. So is it the remote thats making it think Im "driver2"?

Yep There is ever mostly likely a #2 on the back also
