Went drag racing yesterday and blew motor first pass. As far as I can till #2 injector hung open and killed piston. A little upset since injectors where brand new 60% over installed in February.

Your are now in the same boat as me haha, I'm working on my build currently mine will probably be down until around Christmas, are you planning on built motor or going back to stock?

Not sure what way I'm going for built or stock. Kind of scared now that if I do build it and I have another new injector stick it would do the same thing.

Ouch.

it is a scary thought to dump alot of money into a motor and still think bad things could happen to it but really kinda happens in any motor sport. I had 5k into my short block, then another 3.5k in go fast goodies like injectors, tips, dual fuelers, and some other stuff. it was nerve racking just before i hit the starter and it fired up but man what a feeling when it comes to life and all your hard work plays out.

i personally wouldnt build one though without the expectation that it could very well could come right back out in a few thousand miles. not saying this will happen and the chance is small (and getting smaller with the builders that continue to perfect these motors) but it happens
